Security Computer Investigator

BAE Systems is seeking a skilled Security Computer Investigator who will be responsible for investigating suspected intakes of waste, fraud and abuse; data spills; and, network penetrations of government customer’s information systems. Qualified Candidates will investigate and eradicate computer viruses as well as malicious code. Additionally, Candidates will provide computer incident and violation response support, and cyber security awareness and training. Day-to-day duties may include participation in technical meetings and working groups to address issues related to computer security, protection against malware and other vulnerabilities. Selected Candidates will assist in the development and delivery of malware security awareness products and briefings. Finally, Candidates will collaborate with the customer, team members, computer security investigators, forensic analysts, and other internal and external organizations to address issues as well as share best practices and process improvements.

Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years work experience or equivalent experience Required Skills and Education

Bachelor’s Degree

At least 7 years of relevant experience

Experience with analytical problem solving and familiar with conducting security investigations and operations relating to suspected instances.

In-depth working knowledge of DoD intelligence regulations and familiar with intelligence oversight principles.

Must possess superior writing and briefing skills and publish finished analysis.

Familiarity with computer network defense methodologies
