Functioning as an Operation Department Scheduling Coordinator at Wallops Island Virginia in the Surface Combat Systems Center (SCSC) Facility. SCSC is the premier Land Based Test Site for the Aegis and SSDS Navy Shipboard platforms. The mission at SCSC includes Research and Development, Training, Fleet Emergent Testing, System Integration and hardware/software Certification.
Scheduling Coordinator duties include reviewing customer requests for test time, de-confliction of equipment assets requested by multiple customers for the same time period, facilitating scheduling meetings, contacting mission POC's to negotiate conflicting requests, respond to and execute Operations Officer and Scheduling Officer guidelines and directives, developing mission schedule projections for SCSC and planning and conducting Mission Readiness Reviews (MRR).
Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Required Skills and Education
Typical education and relevant/related years of experience: High School/GED. 5 years experience in scheduling and de-confliction. Knowledge of scheduling tools and AEGIS and SSDS baselines, supporting peripheral equipment and communication systems for coordination, scheduling and de-confliction of Combat Systems. Experience in providing updates on items that impact current and future testing. Minimum of one (1) year of experience with TRMS, is also required.
Security clearance requirement: Eligible to obtain and maintain a final DoD security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required). Selected candidate will receive a contingent offer with a delayed start date until an interim Secret clearance is granted.

Active DoD security clearance
Experience in an RDT&E environment
Knowledge and experience with TRMS
Experience on AEGIS ships or Land Based Test Sites
Experience with Microsoft Projects
