Scan Eagle UAV Initial Qualification Training Coordinator

The Initial Qualification Training (IQT) Coordinator will be a part of the Scan Eagle In-service Engineering Agent (ISEA) team working with Naval Special Warfare Command (NSW).

The IQT Coordinator will assist in delivering curriculum, schedule resources for training events lasting 8 to 10 weeks, and be responsible for coordinating/overseeing other JUONS IA training with Naval Special Warfare Command, Navy Fleet Forces Command, Navy Operations Support Center, and combat units in Afghanistan. Additionally, the IQT Coordinator will assist Naval Special Warfare Group 10 Advanced UAS Training Cell with Mission Qualification Training (MQT) to ensure alignment and standardization of training proficiency events between IQT and MQT.

The IQT Coordinator will be located on Silver Strand Training Complex, Imperial Beach, CA at Naval Special Warfare Advanced Training Command Detachment Coronado. There is no relocation assistance available for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to the surrounding area.

Annual travel requirement includes up to 15 weeks of travel to Camp Roberts in Paso Robles, CA and two weeks for conferences and meeting attendance. There is no travel outside of the United States.

Minimum Education and Experience High school diploma and at least 8 years of related exeperience Required Skills and Education Scan Eagle Initial Qualification / Air Vehicle Operator graduate

Scan Eagle Mission Qualification Training graduate, or equivalent

Scan Eagle Instructor (UAS-I)

High school diploma and at least 8 years of related experience

At least 2 years of experience working with Special Operations UAS

Ability to write clear and concise reports

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance

Preferred Skills and Education Bachelor’s degree in a field related to training, education, or aviation, from accredited university

Insitu ScanEagle Initial Qualification Training Instructor

Navy Master Training Specialist, or equivalent

Scan Eagle Evaluator (UAS-E)

Scan Eagle Maintenance Technician Qualification

RQ-20 Puma AE Initial Qualification / Air Vehicle Operator graduate

RQ-11 Raven B Initial Qualification / Air Vehicle Operator graduate

RQ-21 Integrator Initial Qualification / Air Vehicle Operator graduate
