SAS Developer

Job Description
This BAE Systems program supports a federal customer who is the principal fact-finding agency for the Federal Government in the broad field of labor economics and statistics. The agency is an independent national statistical agency that collects, processes, analyzes, and disseminates essential statistical data to the American public, the U.S. Congress, other Federal agencies, State and local governments, business, and labor. This position will support the development and production of Model-based estimation for the Occupational Employment Statistics (OES) program

Required Skills and Education
Seven years of overall experience in design and development of applications.

Position requires knowledge of Base SAS, SAS Macros, Proc SQL, IML, SAS/STAT, SAS/SQL, Tortoise SVN.

Strong working experience with mathematics, statistics, quantitative SAS functions, SAS Macros.

Preferred experience of independent SAS development work related to statistical and mathematical models including variance estimations.

4+ years of experience with SDLC

Preferred Skills and Education

Solid analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to work independently or with a team
Good Communications skills
Familiarity with Agile development frameworks and development of productions systems
Knowledge of Java
