Sales Manager - Eclipse SIGINT

Job Description

Entrepreneurial self-starter integral to the identification and capture of new business opportunities for the Eclipse SIGINT product line. Successful execution involves working as an individual contributor on the Eclipse capture team and with the larger BAE Systems business development community. Must be capable of engaging customers alone or as part of a larger capture team. Works as the liaison between the customer/potential customer and the Eclipse engineering team to communicate and demonstrate the benefits and value of Eclipse products. Provides feedback from customers as to the emerging requirements for new product development. Assists product line management in better understanding served markets for Eclipse products. This position requires a solid understanding of RF and digital design fundamentals along with experience and capabilities in sales and account management.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Leads the capture of new business opportunities for the Eclipse SIGINT product team.
  • Develops, communicates and executes opportunity capture plans.
  • Identifies and opens new channels to market.
  • Primary customer facing product/technical expert for the Eclipse product line.
  • Represents Eclipse at industry trade shows.
  • Contributes to the proposal and quoting activities involving Eclipse products as needed.
  • Delivers minimum of 4 new program/project capture opportunities within the year with an identifiable path to no less than $5M.
  • Identifies and opens new channels to market.
Location: Dallas, TX or DC Metro Area

Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 10 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education
  • Demonstrated sales experience with quick turn results.
  • Minimum of 5 years in development or Systems Engineering, preferably in SIGINT, with a solid understanding of RF, digital and DSP concepts.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or technical degree
Preferred Skills and Education
  • Previous experience in program management, business development or Application Engineering highly preferred.
  • Master's Degree
  • Active Secret clearance
