Safety, Health and Environmental Program Manager

Job Description

This is an exciting and challenging safety, health and environmental (SHE) position, involving a blended role of subject matter expert and operations support. The selected applicant shall maintain, support and implement assigned elements of Electronics Systems' (ES), SHE (ESH, HSE) programs . The opportunity will be located at our Canal Street site in Nashua, New Hampshire (Home Site), and the selected candidate will serve as SHE subject matter expert to support site SHE personnel at ES campuses thro ughout the United States, focusing at our NH and MA sites and related assigned SHE responsibilities at your Home site. The selected applicant must proactively engage in office areas, on the production floor and in site-sponsored employee events to support internal customers and communicate the Company's SHE obligations and performance. Also, the selected candidate will support SHE continual improvement efforts by contributing to SHE technical working groups.

Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education
Required areas of experience include ergonomics in both office and manufacturing business environments and SHE compliance in an industrial environment. Experience also to include preparation and delivery of training materials, SHE assessments and audits to ensure awareness and conformance with the SHE management system.

Preferred Skills and Education
Preferred experience to include implementation of SHE programs within a web-based management system (ISO 14001/OHSAS18001), expertise with OSHA's Hazard Communication program and understanding personnel protective equipment (PPE) requirements; although, other areas of SHE expertise will certainly be considered.
