Quality Analyst I
BAE Systems in Middletown, RI is seeking a Quality Analyst to ensure ISO 9001 Quality Management System is maintained throughout the Towed Array Handling Equipment Facility (NUWC), including its internal audit program. The analyst will ensure that all incoming products, intermediate products, and finished products conform to applicable specification requirements. Performing quality inspections and/or audits at external vendor sites is also included in the candidates duties.
Overall, the job requires the candidate to implement program quality plans and procedures. Ensure that performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards. Review, analyze and report on quality discrepancies and data related to production. Investigate problems and develop disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. Interface with our government customers and outside vendors to ensure requirements are met. Recommend corrective actions, dispositions, process optimization and modifications.
Candidate must be a self-starter, highly motivated and show the initiative to take on tasks that are known to be needing completion.
Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Required Skills and Education

Eligible to obtain a security clearance
Preferred Skills and Education
Highly desired skills/experience:
Active DoD security clearance.
Basic understanding of welding and weld inspections
Familiarity with the Navy's Product Data Reporting Program
Familiarity with the current ISO 9001:2015 Standards
Familiarity with creating/manipulating documents using Microsoft Office programs.
