Project Mgr III - Tech
BAE Systems is seeking Guidance Navigation & Control Engineers to support the Air Force's next generation Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) weapon system acquisition. Our customer is the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) Program Office located at Hill AFB, north of Salt Lake City, Utah. This will be a long term project with the weapon system anticipated to remain operational until 2075.
This position will be in the Burlington MA area in support of the GBSD Program Office at Hill AFB.
Specifically BAE Systems is seeking a highly qualified GN&C Engineer with extensive experience in developing and sustaining strategic grade guidance, navigation, control, and reentry systems with special emphasis in the area of radiation hardening. Required specialized skills and experience in this area include:
- Expertise in the radiation hardened design process including the development of a common radiation hardened processor and digital ASIC designs
- Expertise in system circumvention and recovery design including both hardware and software elements
- Both rad hard and non rad hard parts development including parts management programs, testing, and foundry assessment
This position will also require an extensive background in developing test hardware and software, as well as the planning, support, and assessment of both real and simulated flight test.
Additionally, this position will require the ability to work with coworkers in other facilities and the mentoring of junior and mid-level guidance engineers.
