BAE Systems is looking for a qualified professional to join our team for an exciting opportunity supporting pre-acquisition efforts for the Minuteman III weapon system. The Minuteman III is a 1970s era weapon and is scheduled to be retained as the United States military’s prompt, global strike deterrent system until at least 2030. To maintain the system, a number of programs will addresses issues associated with obsolescence of the system.
The BAE Project Manager will provide direct support to the designated ICBM Systems Directorate Program Manager. In addition, the BAE Project Manager will participate in determining support requirements, workloads, program schedules, test equipment, facilities, skills and training to meet milestones, cost estimate and budget submissions and respond to deficiencies.
The position will be located at or near Hill AFB, Utah. Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years work experience or equivalent experience Required Skills and Education AA with 10+ years’ experience sustaining, maintaining, and/or providing programmatic support to military weapon systems
BS with 8+ years’ experience sustaining, maintaining, and/or providing programmatic support to military weapon systems
MS with 6+ years’ experience sustaining, maintaining, and/or providing programmatic support to military weapon systems
PhD with 3+ years’ experience sustaining, maintaining, and/or providing programmatic support to military weapon systems Preferred Skills and Education Working knowledge of Primavera and familiarity with Earned Value Management, risk management, resource planning, contracts, and Government cost and accounting systems. DoD acquisition experience.
