Project Manager

The Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Systems Directorate (ICBMSD) is required to develop and implement the logistics lifecycle plan to meet the New Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (New START) reduction requirements for Minuteman III (MMIII) payloads, launchers and delivery vehicles. The objective is to complete the defined final Nuclear Triad portfolio in accordance with the New START Treaty and guidance from Air Force Global Strike Command.

The NST Program logistics efforts require sustaining engineering support throughout the preparation, drawdown and storage phases. Personnel will study stresses on non-deployed ICBM systems and sub-systems, determining what is necessary to maintain “A” condition assets for quick reconstitution. Personnel will conduct trade studies and assessments for delivery to the ICBMSD.

Employee shall possess and maintain a security clearance.

Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree and 12 years work experience or equivalent experience Required Skills and Education Willing to work independently within often undefined parameters and limited guidance. Identify possible areas of concern and offer technical solutions via formal reports. The position requires familiarity with ICBM ground, flight and support equipment. Engineering Degree required.

BS and 12+ years experience

MS and 10+ years experience

PhD and 7+ years experience

Employee shall possess and maintain a security clearance. Preferred Skills and Education An Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering Degree is highly preferred. 12+ years of ICBM experience is highly preferred.
