Job Description
The Project Integration Engineer III at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (FL) supporting the US Space Force (USSF) Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC), Launch Enterprise Directorate (SMC/ECL) Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) contract focuses on project integration encompassing primarily one or more of the following engineering disciplines: electronics, electrical, mechanical, chemical, etc. Defines problems, conducts research, analyzes criteria related to various engineering fields and resolves problems.
Experience leading multi-task programs, prioritizing tasks, adjusting in a rapidly changing environment within the space and LV industries, participating in USSF launch processing and experience with DoD or AF acquisition processes. Ability to understand customer requirements an d translate them into technical requirements. Ability to provide overarching systems integration for launch verification and integration with associated launch support systems across all existing and new acquisition programs falling under SMC/ECL and the NSSL enterprise. Experience in developing concept trade studies for launch and other relevant subjects as directed by SMC/ECL.
Knowledge - Develops advanced concepts, techniques and standards. Develops new applications based on professional principles and theories. Viewed as expert in the field within the corporation.
Contacts - Contacts are frequent with individuals representing other departments, and/or representing outside organizations. Contacts involve obtaining or providing information or data on matters of moderate importance to the function of the department or which may be of sensitive nature.

Impact - Decisions affect the financial, technical, employee or public relations posture of the organization. Erroneous decisions or recommendations would normally result in failure to achieve goals critical to the major objectives of the organization.
Liaison - Serves as consultant and external spokesperson for the organization on significant matters relating to policies, programs, capabilities and long-range goals and objectives. Or serves as an advisor to senior external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations.

Education Level: Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or STEM-related field
Experience: Minimum: 10-years experience for Bachelors
Proposed: 12-years experience for Bachelors, 10-years experience for Masters, and 8-years experience for PhD
Security Clearance: Top Secret with the ability to obtain an TS/SCI
