Job Description
The Project Integration Engineer II - System Partnerships at Los Angeles AFB, CA supporting the US Space Force (USSF) Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC), Launch Enterprise Directorate (SMC/ECL) Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) Contract responsible for the design and integration of complex engineering systems used to modernize or upgrade existing systems. Responsible for the functionality and compatibility of systems in both test and live environments.

Experience in the development and analysis of LE future launch systems architecture design verification and validation, Concept trade studies, Additional activity will include interaction with a variety of DoD (e.g. SMC/AD, SMC/AFRL, etc.), civil (e.g. NASA and FAA) and commercial launch organizations (spaceports, groups like the commercial spaceflight federation) and providers, as well as international space launch agencies and companies to assist LE in understanding the global launch industry, architectures and best practices for launch systems. Experience in the assessment of new technologies, and the formation of tech partnerships for future launch systems.

Liaison - Serves as consultant to management and special external spokesperson for the organization on major matters pertaining to its policies, plans and objectives. May interact with senior external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Education Level: Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or STEM-related field

Experience: Minimum: 8-years experience for Bachelors
Proposed: 10-years experience for Bachelors, 8-years experience for Masters, 6-years experience for PhD

Security Clearance: Secret
