Program Manager II - EPAWSS Development

Job Description

BAE Systems Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) Business Area is seeking a highly motivated, experienced Program Manager to join our Tactical Aircraft EW Solutions Product Line in Nashua, NH. This position will lead the development, delivery, and support of electronic warfare systems for the F-15 platform.

Primary responsibilities:

Manages various projects including engineering development and transition-to-production projects to ensure achievement of financial, schedule and technical performance objectives. Supports program efforts with monthly reporting of schedule and financial status, generation of program SDRLs and program metrics, generation of risk mitigation and opportunity realization plans and management of subcontractor development efforts as required.

Leads all program activity associated with new Diminishing Manufacturing Source (DMS) work scope including program planning, schedule development, budget allocation, integrated baseline management, team communications and issue management.

Manages day-to-day engineering activities associated with Integration & Test, Environmental Qualification testing and flight test activity.

Leads proposal development for new engineering activity as required.

Coordinates internal and external program reviews, including Phase Reviews and Program Management meetings.

Interfaces with suppliers, customers, and senior leadership on program elements.

Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 10 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

Strong interpersonal skills to lead cross-functional teams towards common goals in a matrix organization.

Ability to develop creative solutions to highly complex problems involving internal and external stakeholders.

Experience with DoD contracts, project management and risk/opportunity management.

Experience developing integrated baselines (cost, schedule, technical, risks, opportunities, management reserve).

Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, including Microsoft Project and critical path management.

DoD Secret Clearance.

Preferred Skills and Education
Experience leading weekly Program Management Meetings.
Experience with financial data reports including generation of variance analysis.
Experience leading subcontractor development efforts.
Experience with the Phase Review process and deliverables.
