Global Analysis and Operations currently has an opening for Program Manager supporting US Forces – Afghanistan (USFOR-A). The Program Manager shall serve as an in-theater based asset responsible the management of a large deployed OCONOS intelligence program.
The Program Manager shall have full authority to act for the contractor on all contract matters relating to daily operation of this contract. The Program Manager shall be responsible to the in-country Government Contracting Officer and/or their designated Representative and the CONUS BAE Systems PMO PM.
The Program Manager will be responsible for the performance of the work to include the management of contract personnel, logistics, support, issue resolution, and other program management responsibilities. The Program Manager shall ensure deliverables are met in accordance with Government requirements and at the request of the Contracting Officer and/or their designated Representative. The Program Manager shall provide reports and updates to the Contracting Officer or their representative, to include weekly manning documents, monthly status and management reports, and contract invoices.
Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience Required Skills and Education Education – Bachelor’s Degree OR eight years relevant management experience
Experience – Eight years’ experience working in Government environment as either Government or Contractor employee with at least five years management experience including leading large complex projects or multi-disciplined teams
Special skills or qualifications -
- At least two years’ experience in Iraq or Afghanistan
Preferred Skills and Education · Education – Master’s Degree
- Experience in either Afghanistan/SWA regional/political/military issues
- Former US Army Command or equivalent
