Program Manager

Job Description

BAE Systems' Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) Business Area is seeking a Program Manager reporting to the Firetip Family of Programs within the Advanced Electronic Warfare Solutions (AEWS) Product Area and the Integrated Electronic Warfare Solutions (IEWS) Product Line.

This Junior Program Manager position will report to the Firetip Family of Programs. The primary role of this position is the Risk and Opportunity Lead for the Family of Programs, with opportunities for growth in a number of areas which span the entire lifecycle of programs, from development through production and sustainment. Duties include:

  • Manage risks and opportunities
  • Coordinate / facilitate closure of action items across the family of programs
  • Support the Firetip Program Management staff
  • Interface with engineering, operations, finance, contracts and the customer, as required
  • Support program security level tasks such as clearance requests and data transfers
  • Support phase reviews
  • Coordinate training requirements
Typical Education & Experience

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 6 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

Risk and Opportunity training / experience
Bachelor's Degree and 5 years work experience or equivalent experience;
Proficient with Word, Excel, Powerpoint;

Preferred Skills and Education

Strong planning and organizational skills

Strong interpersonal skills
Eligible to obtain a Top Secret clearance
