Production Control Planner Supervisor

Job Description
This position is a working supervisor that will supervise 5-8 planners in the change planning organization within PSE. This position will have responsibility for coordinating material change requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production requirements. This position leads the evaluation of changes for effectivity dates. The requirement is to work with both Make and Buy Planners to set the effectivity of the change and disposition of parts including rework, scrap use as is etc...

This position supervises the people that prepares and coordinates the plans and schedules for existing programs. Determines, monitors, and reviews manpower requirements. Formulates and recommends corrective action measures such as schedule revisions, manpower adjustments, fund allocations, and work requirements.

Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 6 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education
Ability to perform and coordinate material planning and supply chain planning functions. Ability to oversee planners on multiple programs. An understanding of configuration management..
