BAE Systems is looking for an Electrical Engineer to be a contributor on the Operations team supporting Microwave Manufacturing factories. The individual will resolve production test and product problems by conducting troubleshooting activities on multifaceted test equipment technologies and complex microwave modules. Tasks require the ability to isolate and resolve module failures to support production and the ability to determine root cause of failures.
Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience
Required Skills and Education
- The ability to isolate and resolve test related issues in both hardware and software related problems.
- Ability to validate test measurement accuracy, conduct data analysis and generate documents related to test.
- Working in a production environment supporting module and test stand debug.
- Working on a multi-discipline team to identify root cause of module and test stand related problems.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office.
Must be eligible for a DoD security clearance.
Preferred Skills and Education
Familiar with RF and digital instrumentations (i.e. network analyzers, spectrum analyzers and signal sources).
Familiar with Lean/Six Sigma principles.
