BAE Systems has a job opening for a Travel Commodity Manager in Charlotte, NC (Ballantyne, NC). This position will be responsible for the procurement and management of travel-related services including: travel management company, travel/entertainment and P-Card agreements, online booking tool & expense software, air agreements, preferred hotel program, rental car and ground transportation. Global agreement experience is a plus. This role supports the meetings/group sourcing program which entails review of terms and conditions and feedback/execution of contracts (usually hotel).
Partners with the Travel function and various internal business stakeholders and contractors. This includes leading the company Travel Working Group meeting(s) and planning quarterly business reviews with strategic travel suppliers.
This position may also include non-travel purchasing in support of consulting agreements (tax, audit, HR, etc.) banking services, subscription agreements, payment processes, etc. including Request for Proposal (RFP), agreement drafting, reviewing, negotiating and management. This role will be required to follow all company policies and procedures and maintain compliant procurement folders, spend analytics and other relevant metrics. Performs other assignments, as required.
