Principle Program Quality Engineer

Job Description

BAE Systems is looking for a Principal Quality Engineer to perform the role of the lead Program Quality Engineer for the B-2 program.

The program is in the development phase and the candidate will ensure implementation of a Quality program that satisfies the requirements of the B-2 Program Quality Plan and the ES Quality Management System Manual. The candidate will support the B-2 Program Office and will work with other program functional leads to support the execution of the program schedule. The duties expected to be performed by the candidate include but are not limited to purchase order review and approval, non-conformance processing, audit planning and execution, planning and performing QA/VMI activities, planning, facilitating and performing PPV/FAI for BAE Systems make assemblies, reviewing and approving buy item FAI reports, supplier engagement activities, leading Material Review Board (MRB) activities, supporting program initiatives for continuous improvement, affordability and zero defect objectives.

Bachelor's Degree and 8 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

Bachelor's Degree and 8 years work experience or equivalent experience

Knowledgeable and skilled in use of TipQA modules, Solumina, I-Portal queries, and Quality Assurance modules within the Oracle System.

Must have experience in facilitating and performing Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) activities.

Must have strong knowledge and familiarity of ES policies and Desk Instructions along with AS9102 FAI requirements.
