Principal Investigator - Advanced RF Microelectronics
Are you an RF Microelectronics expert with an emphasis in mixed signal circuit design? BAE Systems is looking for a Technology Development Manager. This is an individual contributor position and duties will include the following:
New Business Capture – Perform capture lead duties such as preparing technical briefings, customer briefings, strategy planning, and proposal development. Develop new ideas pertaining to Advanced RF Microelectronics. Develop team to capture business (internal + external).
Program Execution – Principal Investigator for Advanced RF Microelectronics technology programs. Lead team of RF circuit designers, prepare customer briefings, develop new circuit and microelectronics architectures. Manage to schedule and cost constraints. Work with external subcontractors.
Mentoring – Mentor engineers in the art of RF Microelectronics to help in advancing their careers. Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree and 15 years work experience or equivalent experience Required Skills and Education Required Education:
Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent and 10+ years related experience
- Active US Secret security clearance is required.
- Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. Emphasis in Mixed Signal RF Circuit design.
- True microelectronics chip/SoC experience (SiGe, InP, DC – 100 GHz).
- Must be able to architect new approaches and new applications based on customer requirements.
- Experience in new business generation with Government organizations.
- Good Oral and written presentation skills
- Ability to think strategically and anticipate future RF needs.
- Knowledge of current state of the art in RF Microelectronics technologies.
- Experience working with Universities
