BAE Systems in Nashua, NH is seeking capable and experienced engineers to work on our diverse products and capabilities that are critical to the warfighter’s success and safety in the Sensor and Targeting Solutions (STS) Business Area.

Candidate will have at least fifteen years of experience in two or more of the following technology areas: GPS, Guidance Navigation Controls (GNC), Artillery Systems and Missile Seekers, Smart Weapons, Missile Systems and Guided Projectiles, Precision Targeting and Guidance Systems, high rate gimbal control systems, gyros and stabilization, algorithm development, complex laser and electro-optics, sensor data fusion, missile warning and signature analysis.

Proven precision pointing and tracking design and integration experience of complex airborne platforms and systems required. The subject matter expert is the technical design authority and conscience of the project. Candidate will have a minimum of fifteen years of design experience in the Systems Engineering Discipline and applications engineering. Responsibilities will include detailed system design and platform architecture interface and trades, operational needs and conceptualization, system requirements development and performance analysis, integration and testing, system field demonstration/problem solving, all resulting in an affordable robust system design in the operational environment. The candidate will have a proven Systems Engineering background with experience in modeling, simulation and algorithm development. MATHCAD, MATLAB and Simulink skills are required. DOORs, Magic Draw and MBSE experience required. The SME will be responsible for the system precision pointing performance in the harsh and complex operational mission, platform and environmental environments.

Ability to communicate very detailed technical concepts and knowledge, trades, designs analysis results and overall system performance to both internal and external customers and executive officer customers is required.
