Owego Free Academy Operations Associate Coop

Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking high school aged participants enrolled at Owego Free Academy for a Coop position starting this summer. In this role, you will perform manufacturing work, which is specific in nature and requires knowledge of basic manufacturing concepts. In addition to, interpretation and application of manufacturing standards.
Duties may include:

  • Learning various assembly processes to assembly printed circuit card assemblies and flight control computers which may including bonding, soldering, mechanical assembly, wire crimping, or running assembly equipment.
  • Receive direction and instructions in the form of assignment objectives, alternative approaches and solutions from supervisor or mentor.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required

  • Required Skills and Education
    Candidates MUST be current students at Owego Free Academy. Candidates must have g ood communications skills and a mechanical aptitude.

    Preferred Skills and Education
    Candidates should be good with computers and have a familiar with Microsoft office products. They should be currently enrolled in their Junior year of High School, moving into their Senior year. Candidates should be punctual and have a diligent work ethic.
