Oracle Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Developer
BAE is seeking an Oracle ECM Developer who designs, develops, and tests enterprise solutions by leveraging Oracle out-of-the-box configurable components to their maximum extent, including coding, unit testing, using design patterns, learning new technologies, and becoming an expert in parts of the system. The position is part of BAE’s Enterprise Shared Services IT/Enterprise Solutions organization which supports enterprise wide applications.
Typical job duties include:
Collaborates with business analysts and quality assurance teams to ensure efficient and effective design/development/testing of secure enterprise applications.
Participating in installation, configuration and patching activities.
Customizes and implements custom forms for WebCenter Imaging.
Provides ongoing administration support for various middleware components (Content, Imaging, Records) including responding to Work orders, Service Requests, Problems and Changes.
Provides support to users, other programming staff, and handles production issues as needed. Utilizes relational database systems and database development tools.
Writes stored procedures, triggers and\or functions.
Troubleshoots to capture incident data and analyze for root cause analysis.
Assists in manual application code deployments. Conducts performance tuning to maintain system stability. Influences management to adopt new ideas, products, and/or approaches as relevant.
Analyzes all aspects of the existing infrastructure and recommending modifications that will enhance system reliability, availability, serviceability and scalability.
Provides upward, downward, and lateral communication and coordination that sufficiently addresses expectations and project status. Handles miscellaneous requests for data and ad hoc reports.
Produces user documentation, creates presentations, communicates technical information, and trains users on developed solutions.
Develops installation packages, as needed .
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree and 12 years work experience or equivalent experience Required Skills and Education Experience with Object Oriented Design, Configuration and Software Development using ADF, WebCenter Content, WebCenter Enterprise Capture and BPM.
Recent experience with Oracle 11g WebCenter Content installation, configuration, configuration and creating workflows.
Experience working with Java, ADF, XML, XSD, XSLT, XPath, SOAP, WSDL languages.
Experience working with application servers (Oracle Weblogic)..
Experience in integrating applications.
Experience in implementing Error handling.
Experience in working with WebCenter Content Workflow.
Experience in working with WebCenter Enterprise Capture or Oracle Document Capture (ODC).
Oracle Database Experience.
Preferred Skills and Education Experience with integrating Oracle WebCenter Content (UCM) with Oracle eBusiness Suite and/or PeopleSoft.
Experience with HR and Financial Systems integrations with ECM.
