Oracle eBusiness Suite Techno/Functional Supply Chain Analyst

Job Description

BAE is searching for an Oracle eBusiness Suite Techno/Functional Analyst in our York, PA location to work closely with various stakeholders to accurately define complex problems. Understand their business needs and rationale, as well as how it fits into the overall enterprise. Understand the Oracle EBS functionality in use, including interfaced third-party systems.

Act as a face of IT to the customer and the face of the customer to the Development teams and IT management.

Gather requirements from multiple stakeholders, analyze against available capabilities, perform gap analysis and translate into technical specifications for solution design.

Present alternatives for requirements and solution design and suggest improvements in business processes.

Work with development team to ensure desired deliverables meet expectations. Assist in solution development and bug troubleshooting.

Translate documented requirements into test scenarios and test scripts. Conduct first-level unit testing and support end-user testing.

Create training materials and system documentation.

Provide estimates on the impact and cost of the requested change.

Project coordination of medium sized projects.

Create ad-hoc queries and scripts to analyze data and support operational requests.

Provide operational support, troubleshoot defects and resolve issues using various tools including internal documentation, My Oracle Support knowledgebase and interaction with Oracle Support via the SR process.

Coordinate application changes, both custom programs and Oracle patches/upgrades.

Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Must be highly organized with excellent technical, analytical, problem solving, presentation, communication and decision making skills and be able to interface with all levels of management, functional and technical team.

Preferred Location: York, PA. but position is open to remote worker.

Typical Education & Experience

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 8 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

8+ Years Oracle e-Business Suite R12 functional knowledge with Supply Chain (Purchasing, iSupplier, Sourcing, iProcurement) modules.

General functional knowledge of Discrete Manufacturing, Finance and Projects modules.

Knowledge of Oracle e-Business Suite technical tools including SQL, PL/SQL, Workflow, Forms, Reports, Personalization's.

Preferred Skills and Education

EBS skills: AME, XML Publisher, Unix, MS Office, TOAD, My Oracle Support, OBIEE, Discoverer.

APICS certification PMP certification Business Intelligence reporting/ data warehouse knowledge.
