Oracle Data Analyst

Job Description
BAE systems is looking for an experienced professional to join an integrated production planning team. The Oracle Data Analyst supports business and technical processes to develop new and modified business information processing systems. Provides functional support for general and technical process improvement related to operations processes. Coordinates with business and technology teams, ascertaining system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, and system techniques and controls. Other responsibilities include providing direct functional support including assigned planner responsibilities.

Required Skills and Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or technical equivalent (i.e. Information Systems, Information Management, Informatics, or similar)
  • Experience working with SQL and procedural SQL (PL/SQL, T-SQL, etc)
  • Experience with all aspects of relational database design
  • Proficiency in web design (HTML, CSS, jQuery, AJAX, Javascript)
  • Experience working with Oracle Database
  • Experience working with Oracle ERP data
  • Experience managing large data sets
  • Ability to identify and lead process improvement initiatives
  • Experience with object oriented programming concepts
  • Experience with software development in at least one of Python, C++, Java, or other development language

Preferred Skills and Education
  • General understanding of production process and requirements based planning
  • Oracle MRP or ASCP experience
  • Oracle Inventory Management experience
  • Certifications in Oracle DB SQL, Microsoft SQL Server
  • Other applicable IT certifications
  • Experience developing APEX applications
  • Project management experience
