Optical Product Engineering Intern

Job Description

BAE Systems is looking for an Optical Product Engineering Intern to work with Senior Engineers supporting the manufacturing of Lasers and Electro-Optical systems in our New Hampshire factories.

Work responsibilities includes working with optical products as well as building and testing of components, subsystems and test equipment. Position requires technical work which is specific in nature and requires knowledge and application of basic optical engineering principles, theories, and concepts to complete assignments under direct technical supervision.

Required Skills and Education

Required education: High School/GED

Enrolled in a 4 year engineering degree program (Electrical Engineering preferred) and have completed their 3rd year in the Spring of 2019.

Preferred Skills and Education

Experience with basic optical component interferometry measurements and optical system alignment and measurements desired. Good oral and written communication skills.
