O&M Task Lead

BAE Systems is building a team of Information Systems Managers to provide leadership for those involved in the development, design and optimization of one or more information technology and systems functions supporting the Intelligence Community's business processes and technical information systems platforms. Our managers will supervise teams performing analysis, selection and modification of enterprise systems, application software, installation of network hardware/software and database management.
O&M Task Lead - Supports Program Manager and Site Lead. Coordinates team's activities to provide Agency and/or COCOM customers with systems, software, and services support. Manages team's outreach and user engagement, Service Desk (Tier 1/2/3) and Desk Side support. Leads team's software, hardware, configuration and change management activities including licensing and maintenance agreements, technical and administrative control of technology assets, as well as Request for Change analysis and recommendation. Organizes team's collaboration with matrixed Training and Development Specialists to develop training plans, curricula, and materials which encourage "self-help" and "self-training." Works closely with Systems Engineering and Integration Lead as well as Data Management Lead to orchestrate team's release and development support. Oversees team's development of storage administration strategy, and storage management. Directs teams shared application and infrastructure administration and management as well as event and performance monitoring and reporting.
Work Locations for this opportunity are primarily Sterling VA and Joint Base Anacostia Bolling. However, other work locations are Reston VA, Charlottesville VA, Doral Florida and other CONUS and OCONUS. The positions needed range from Junior to Subject Matter Expert.
Required Skills and Education
•Bachelor's degree in STEM related discipline.
•9-12 years |13+ years of related experience.
•Active TS clearance.
•Project management experience leading diverse teams focused on operations and maintenance of complex computer systems.
•Customer relation management experience.
•Experience developing creative solutions to highly complex problems invovling internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred Skills and Education
•Experience supporting the missions of analysts in the Defense Intelligence Agency or Combatant Commands.
•Experience with Agile Development methodologies.
•Knowledge of system testing and validation.
•Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified.
