Job Description
BAE Systems is building a team of System Analysts to develop computer systems specifications and requirements that address business requirements and that fit with the system architecture standards being developed for the Intelligence Community. Our team of analysts establishes and documents system parameters and formats, ensures hardware and software systems compatibility and coordinates and/or modifies system parameters in terms of existing and projected computer capacity and capabilities. The team also analyzes, enhances, installs, tests and modifies enterprise-wide operating systems for new and/or existing systems.

Supports O&M Task Lead. Identifies requirements for software, licenses, and maintenance agreements for items not provided as Government-Furnished Property (GFP). This includes server (non-end user) requirements as well as innovation, development, integration and test environment requirements. Collaborates with Configuration Manager to develop, deliver, maintain, and implement plans, processes, and techniques to identify, quantify, and monitor hardware and software assets including licenses and maintenance agreements. Maintains hardware/software records of vendors, titles, licenses, quantities, costs, versions, and usage to ensure compliance with terms and conditions of each. Delivers reports to support tracking and auditing, and provides capability to define and control licenses procured under the contract and those licenses provided as GFP.

Work Locations for this opportunity are located primarily in Sterling VA and Joint Base Anacostia Bolling. However, other work locations are available in Reston VA, Charlottesville VA, Doral Florida and other CONUS and OCONUS. We're hiring multiple candidates for this position, ranging in skill levels from Junior to Subject Matter Expert.

Required Skills and Education

  • Bachelor's degree in technical or business disciplines, or 4 years of full time CM work experience in lieu of degree.
  • 0-3 years | 4-8 years | 9-12 years |13+ years of related experience.
  • Active TS clearance
  • Experience with ITIL and configuration management best practices.
  • Experience with managing and maintaining a software library to include SLAs and warranties.
  • Experience working with various software vendors and vendor licensing models.
Preferred Skills and Education
  • Experience supporting the missions of analysts in the Defense Intelligence Agency or Combatant Commands.
  • Project magement experience.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) 4 Certification.
  • Experience with Agile Development methodologies.
