If you are a Network Engineer. The Infrastructure Engineer will work on a Tier 3 infrastructure team required to support. Specific duties include, but not limited to:

  • Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks
  • Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP
  • Purchase recommendations on network equipment and site surveys involved with network installation
  • Configuring firewalls, routing and switching to maximize network efficiency and security
  • Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Arranging scheduled upgrades
  • Strong experience with implementing configuration baselines and DISA STIGs
  • Strong experience with vulnerability mitigation and patching
  • Investigating faults in the network
  • Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases
  • Reporting network status to key stakeholders
  • Have flexible working hours to be available to support team when needed
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 8 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to organize and facilitate planning and demonstrations
  • Ability to track, manage, and ensure project tasks are completed in a timely manner
Preferred Skills and Education
  • Joint Regional Security Stack (JRSS)
  • Topology and rack elevations using Visio
  • Cisco Catalyst access and Nexus core switches
  • Cisco ASR and ISR routers
