Network engineer is responsible for providing day to day support for network operations and maintaining network performance. The Network Engineer will troubleshoot both logical and physical layer network problems. In addition, this person will build network switch and router configurations that adhere to BAE Systems standards and guidelines. Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience Required Skills and Education Required education: High School/GED
Certification: Cisco Certified Network Associate Preferred Skills and Education 1. Effectively communicate with customers and technical staff to troubleshoot and resolve networking problems.
2. Manage the installation and upgrade of network hardware.
3. Follow process and template documentation to configure and install networking hardware.
4. Maintains safe work environment by following codes, standards, and legal regulations.
5. Documents network by labeling and routing equipment and cables; recording configuration diagrams and specifications. About BAE Systems, Inc.
