Network Analyst (USMC JPED)

Job Description
BAE Systems is currently seeking multiple full-time Systems Administrators to support the U.S. Marine Corps Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Enterprise (MCISRE) in Quantico, VA. Candidates will provide on-site MCISRE network support to various Joint Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (JPED) centers. Based on operational requirements from the customer, candidates must be able to work evenings and/or weekends.

The selected candidate's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Provide on-site technical support to maintain the JPED Full Motion Video (FMV) capability
  • Provide IT and Audio Visual (AV) / Video Teleconferencing (VTC) hardware and software support
  • As required, perform equipment installations, component testing, and system testing
  • Develop and recommend inputs to technical documentation
  • Review and provide technical feedback to engineering change requests and proposal
Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education
High School diploma and 6+ years of related IT and/or AV/VTC systems experience
Active security clearance
CompTIA Security+ / CE OR within 6 months of hire date
Demonstrated experience installing, operating, and troubleshooting Cisco and Crestron equipment
Experience providing NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS network hardware support to include: LAN/WAN troubleshooting, upgrading, lifecycle updates, and repairs or replacements of workstations and peripherals
Experience installing and operating AV/VTC equipment, including: microphones, sound speakers, video screens, projectors, video monitors, and connecting wiring/cabling (single-mode fiber and CAT6e)
Experience providing NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS network software support to include: Windows installation and configuration, patching, upgrading, maintaining licenses, user accounts, enterprise or network maintenance
Developing and updating engineering documentation, such as: test procedures, work instructions, technical directives, bulletins, white papers, reports, and engineering drawing packages
Ability to travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations to provide IT and/or AV/VTC support
Self-starter - ability to work with limited supervision
Strong communication and customer service skills - interacting with government and contractor matrix teams

Preferred Skills and Education
Associate degree and 4+ years of related IT and/or AV/VTC systems experience
Experience supporting 24/7 network operations in an Emergency Operations Center (EOC)
IT and/or AV/VTC certifications: Certified Cisco Networking Associate (CCNA), Crestron Digital Media Certified Technician - 4K (DMC-T-4K), Crestron Digital Media Engineer - 4K (DMC-E-4K), Certified Technology Specialist (CTS)
Prior DoD experience (active duty, reserve, government civilian, or contractor)
