Network Administrator for F-35 Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS)
The Network Administrator is responsible for providing support to an Enterprise network deployment on a US Government installation in support of the F-35 Program. This position requires strong working knowledge of networking along with production and administrative procedures. The position will also assist with the design and sustainment of the overall F-35 Extranet expansion through analysis, modeling, and simulation based on rapidly expanding subscriber site activations and remote user needs.

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experienceRequired Skills and Education Security Requirements
Candidates must hold an active Secret security clearance, last Periodic Reinvestigation must be within the last five years.
Candidates must be able to attain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) access and must able to obtain and retain Security+ certificationBasic Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas: Systems & software engineeringSystem administration process backgroundMust be willing to work off hours, to include 0300-1200, 0700-1600, 1000-1900, and/or 1500-2400 depending on operational needs.Must be able to obtain and retain DoD IAT Level II certificationPrior Network administrator experienceExperience in Layer 2 and 3 NetworkingExperience in both Windows and Unix/Linux systems administration and operating systemsExperience with firewallsAbility to analyze and prepare designs for networks in relation to intrusion detection systemsAbility to utilize Network modeling toolsExperience with the management, design, and installation of servers, routers, switches, and network taps in a business environmentTroubleshooting experience with network hardware including but not limited to Juniper/Cisco switches, routers and Net Optics tapsPC and networking skills, including NetMeeting, conferencing serversKnowledge of technical diagrams and wiring server racksSystems administration experience with servers and network installations/integrations Preferred Skills and Education
