This BAE Systems program supports a federal customer who is the principal fact-finding agency for the Federal Government in the broad field of labor economics and statistics. The agency is an independent national statistical agency that collects, processes, analyzes, and disseminates essential statistical data to the American public, the U.S. Congress, other Federal agencies, State and local governments, business, and labor. This position supports the Current Employment Statistics that provides a monthly survey that provides employment numbers, employee hours worked, and earnings estimates based on the payroll records of nonfarm business establishments. The candidate will support the redesign of a web-based system for performance improvements.
Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience
Required Skills and Education
Six years of experience as .NET software developer
Experience using Angular 2.0+
Experience using .Net CORE
Experience using C#
Experience using Typescript
Experience using Oracle
Demonstrated skill with Object oriented programing
Preferred Skills and Education
Knowledge of reactive programming libraries a plus.
Good coding practices demonstrated by knowledge of SOLID principles, understanding Single responsibility principle
Solid analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to work independently or with a team
Good Communications skills
