MSSQL Administrator

Job Description
BAE Systems in Washington DC is seeking a SQL Server Administrator to support the Strategic Systems Program (SSP). Primary responsibilities include management and optimization of SQL Server database systems. The ideal candidate must possess strong problem solving skills; a high degree of technical expertise, and a commitment to exceptional customer service and teamwork. Candidate must be able to meet DoD Cyber workforce requirements within 6 months of being hired.

Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 6 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

•8+ years MS SQL Server 2008/2012/2014/2016 DBA experience on multiple databases
•Experience with Enterprise environment change control procedure.
•Excellent Verbal and Written Skills are paramount
•Excellent problem solving abilities

Preferred Skills and Education
•Experience with MySQL
•CompTIA Security+ Certification or equivalent (required within 6 months of hire)
•Implementation of DISA's Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
