Mid-level Foreign Disclosure Advisor

BAE Systems is seeking motivated individuals who want the opportunity to support the War on Terror in Afghanistan.

Global Analysis and Operations currently has an opening for a Mid-level Foreign Disclosure Advisor supporting US Forces – Afghanistan (USFOR-A). The Foreign Disclosure Advisor will serve as a staff intelligence advisor, in support of the USFOR-A Foreign Disclosure Officer (FDO), in policy and execution of disclosure of information.

Successful candidates will advise the USFOR-A FDO on oversight and implementation of foreign disclosure procedures within USFOR-A such as the release of materials.

The individual will also assist the USFOR-A FDO with security classification guides, based upon releasability criteria from the Department of Defense, CENTCOM, NATO and ISAF.

Additionally, the Foreign Disclosure Advisor provides staff assistance visits and training to ISAF/USFOR-A staff and subordinate commands on FDO procedures.

Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience Required Skills and Education

Education – Associate ‘s Degree OR two to four years relevant intelligence , security or FDO experience

Specialized Training – Completion of DIA DIE FDO Course (Tampa) and USCENTCOM FDO training lAW USCENTCOM REGULATION 380-5

Experience – Minimum two years Foreign Disclosure experience

Clearance

Special skills or qualifications -

  • Able to work Independently with or without Supervision, willing to deploy, work extended hours in a high OPSTEMPO
  • Familiarity with USCENTCOM’s Area of Operation
  • Able to conduct policy research on US classified systems
  • Must be customer orientated
  • Previous experience as an Intelligence and/or Security Analyst a must

Preferred Skills and Education

  • Education – Bachelor’s Degree or 4-8 years relevant years relevant intelligence , security or FDO experience
