The BAE Systems Inc Talent Manager role based in Arlington, VA and reporting to the VP, Talent Solutions Center of Expertise, will support BAE System's US- based business as required, but with a focus on US headquarters leaders and functions and HR center of expertise employees. In this role, the Talent Manager is responsible for strategizing, organizing, and coordinating all aspects of Talent Management, including the implementation of key processes related to succession planning, talent reviews, talent committee, high potential assessment and development, and with providing solutions to close development and capability gaps, but to also retain talent. In addition, the Talent Manager is responsible for managing employees in the Human Resources Leadership Development Program to include managing rotations and providing coaching.
The Talent Manager serves as a knowledgeable and strategic advisor/partner to the VP, Talent Solutions HR leadership, and with peers located in the business and will assist with identifying and developing key talent to grow the business, build current and future capability, and achieve long-term business success.
The ideal candidate for this role knows how to influence leaders to move them to action and understands business strategy and can translate strategy into an executable plan that will help leadership address key talent and associated human capital needs that are directly related to the successful delivery of business outcomes and performance.
The Talent Manager will partner closely with Human Resources colleagues and leadership but he/she will also partner on cross-functional projects and work with other professionals in the business and in the Talent Solutions CoE.
The Talent Solutions COE also provides a flexible 9/80 work schedule with every other Friday off, an end-of-year week long paid shutdown and a 6% match, with immediate vesting, on 401(k) contributions.
