Mgr I- Talent Acqstn

This position is responsible for leading the talent acquisition strategy and full life cycle recruitment for a dynamic, fast paced business unit. This role will be responsible for developing and executing proactive recruitment strategies in order to attract and retain top talent. This individual will provide leadership to a team of recruiters ensuring a high level of service and recruitment related support is provided to the organization. Additionally, this role will support business winning efforts by participating in the development of staffing strategies for new business pursuits. This role reports into the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition.

Key Responsibilities:

Builds strong relationships with hiring managers and is seen as the go-to expert in all areas of talent acquisition. Leads the strategic direction and flawless execution of the talent acquisition team, strategies, and services in partnership with management team and colleagues.

Develops and implements effective recruiting strategies, processes, and procedures to support staffing needs. Ensures strategies are aligned with business objectives and goals to positively impact results. Works closely with Human Resources leader and business partners in creating short and long term forecasting models and workforce hiring plans.

Directly responsible for providing hands-on recruitment related support and for managing the search process for key positions and executive level hires. Provides proactive sourcing management to build qualified candidate pipeline to meet growing business demands. Conducts coaching and training for hiring managers on best practices related to recruiting and interviewing practices and processes for highest quality selection decisions.

Partners with line managers and recruiting team to support college relations and university recruiting efforts and professional networking, conference/trade show recruiting events.

Develops and analyzes key metrics focused on recruitment effectiveness and efficiency and to ensure the achievement of desired goals. Ensures team meets or exceeds metrics consistently and delivers on projects as assigned.

Provides recruiting expertise by staying abreast of industry trends, best practices, legal developments, and benchmark comparisons. Ensures compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations, diversity initiatives, EEO, and affirmative action programs.
