Master Scheduler

Work with program Service Managers and the Control Account Manager (CAM) to establish an integrated master schedule (IMS), manage schedule status, perform critical path analysis and slack management, perform schedule analysis, and communicate results to program management and customer.

Integrate with and across technical disciplines to ensure resultant plans and schedules accurately and comprehensively define the actual engineering (strategy and design), transition, operations and logistics work content, relationships and durations. Prepare, develop, coordinate, and integrate all levels of project plans and schedules. Participate in planning including acquisition phasing with the Global Supply Chain Manager, baseline pricing documents and preparation of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Integrated Master Plans (IMP) and Integrated Master Schedules for Government Task Order preparation and program tracking.

Relate schedules to the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) clearly defining when all tasks start and finish, and identify and document time constraints. Coordinate scheduled activities to complete program or project objectives within the best time, least cost, and least risk.

Develop, maintain and perform continuous management of the Integrated Management Plan (IMP) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) that includes major milestone reviews, the major milestone phases, Contract Work Breakdown Structure (CWBS), and reporting requirements. The IMS shall be directly traceable to the Programs PWS.

Collaborates with program management (i.e. Program Manager) to prepare internal and external presentations; provide scheduling support for monthly, quarterly, or ad-hoc customer meetings, and serve as team leader and mentor/trainer to other team members in aspects of the IMP/IMS. Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree and 12 years work experience or equivalent experience Required Skills and Education Bachelor Degree or six additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to work cooperatively with others. Be self-directed, self-disciplined and highly organize. Demonstrated experience producing large scale integrated master schedules (IMS) (2000+ lines) composed of several projects running simultaneously. Demonstrated advanced knowledge and success in roles designing, building and maintaining of detailed resource-loaded Integrated Master Schedules (IMS). Demonstrated experience managing the Integration Master Schedule (IMS) for full lifecycle, large, complex multi-project implementations with dependencies. Demonstrated experience collecting, analyzing and reporting schedule data from multiple Program sub-organizations and developing and implementing corrective action plans. Demonstrated experience acting in a consulting and/or advisory capacity to senior program officials.

Demonstrated experience effectively resolving highly complex schedule issues and risks Proven documentation, presentation and briefing skills Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project Preferred Skills and Education 8+ years of experience with developing/maintaining IMS/IMP in a large development or integration program.

PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP)® certification.

Experience in an Earned Value Management System (EVMS) environment.

Familiar with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems for Government clients.

Demonstrated experience implementing and utilizing automated tools to enable cost and schedule variance analysis and reporting.
