M777A2 Repair Technician
As part of the M777A2 Gun Cradle Repair Team, you will be responsible for applying the latest production modifications & approved repairs to the M777A2 Light Weight 155mm Howitzer system. A formally trained background in light/heavy equipment related mechanical systems with experience in hydraulics and pneumatics is required. Candidates with previous M777 work related experience or prior service military personnel with a MOS 2131 or 91F (M777 Repairer) preferred, but not required. Work will be performed at US military installations across the continental United States (CONUS) as well as outside the continental United States (OCONUS) including Hawaii, Alaska, Germany, Norway, Okinawa, Korea and other locations as necessary. These positions are conditional based on award of maintenance contract by US Army.
Required Skills and Education Formal training in light/heavy Mechanical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems.
Must be able to use a personal computer and have basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Must be able to use electronic computer programs to report time, process expenses and arrange travel.
