Logistics Project Analyst

Job Description
BAE Systems Sterling Heights site is seeking a Logistics Project Analyst.

This position will require:
The ability to understand the scope of the efforts their tasked to support. Create tracking mechanisms (formed around Earned Value principals) to identify discrete work targets, report discrete work achieved, and determine material requirements to support activities. Initiate procurement of, System Support Packages (SSP) requirements for program logistics test events. Run already created .xml scripts against TM exports to maintain and update SSP requirements to support T&E events. Manage calibration records and tool accountability for tools. Create a tracker of 'issue item' material and work with maintainability engineering/engineering to identify suitable alternates and maintain a master log of said material. Create EOR's with proper funding allotment to procure material to support each event. Receive and store procured SSP. Provide total-event cost actuals as program artifacts. Understand and manage the Log T&E GFM management and ISO requirements. Dissolve material left over at the end of event(s) IAW Army Regulations. Coordinate day-to-day material needs during event execution.

Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

Proficient understanding of MS Excel functions and formulas; as well as MS Word and Powerpoint experience
Understanding of Logistics Products development processes
Analytical and Critical Thinking skills
Effective communication skills; both oral and written

Preferred Skills and Education
MS Access development and input
MS Project development and input
Experience in Validations, Logistics Demonstrations, and/or Verifications of Log Products
Understanding of Earned Value
Knowledge in AR 73-1, AR 700-127, AR 25-30 and Mil Std 40051.
