Logistics New Business Capture Lead

Job Description

Seeking experienced Logistician to lead and support new business capture proposals.
The right candidate will be experienced and knowledgeable in current DoD acquisition and sustainment strategies. This position provides exciting opportunities for the ideal candidate with in-depth logistics knowledge and experience with capturing new business.
The right candidate will be an agile thinker and an influential leader with excellent communication and negotiating skills.

Typical Education & Experience

Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 10 years work experience or equivalent experience

Required Skills and Education

•Proposal lead, responsible for support logistics strategy and cost; leading the proposal Logistics team
•Demonstrated experience from DoD or industry on captures including acquisition, sustainment, depot, CLS, or PBL projects
•Experience developing innovative strategies and solutions for long term customer support throughout the system life cycle
•Outstanding interpersonal skills with a team management approach

Preferred Skills and Education

•Project level leadership experience in DoD or Industry and ILS communities
•Experience with electronics systems and subsystems
•Awareness of reliability, maintainability and safety impacts on support concepts
•DoD issued clearance a plus
