Hardware Configuration Management
Software Configuration Management

While each discipline has a unique focus, all three work together to ensure that a product's performance and physical and functional attributes are consistent with customer requirements. As customer requirements change, changes to the product design are managed, evaluated, and tracked systematically with CDM processes to maintain the product's integrity.

Hardware Configuration Management involves managing the hardware components of a product throughout its lifecycle, ensuring that all proposed changes are reviewed and approved in accordance with requirements.
Software Configuration Management involves establishing, tracking, and controlling changes in software using industry standard tools, including Atlassian, Jira and Git.
Data Management involves identifying, forecasting, reviewing, managing, delivering and archiving contractually required documents, also known as "data items."

These challenging rotations rely heavily upon a business, technical, engineering, or administrative background to ensure conformance to contract requirements, customer specifications, product performance characteristics, processes and procedures at all stages of the product lifecycle.
