The Space Quality Inspector has multiple responsibilities below.

Quality Assurance Visual Mechanical Inspection (QAVMI)

The QAVMI inspector is the last person to review product prior to presentation to the customer

QAVMI inspector is responsible for inspecting the hardware (circuit cards and modules) and paperwork to ensure no defects are present

Any defect found needs to be documented, communicated to the operator and inspector, and the rework coordinated to completion.

The Quality Inspector will have expertise in the manufacturing and inspecting of circuit cards

The candidate will have strong experiential knowledge of IPC J-STD-001 and IPCA-610

The candidate will be confident and able to deliver constructive feedback

The candidate will be energetic, flexible and focused on meeting internal goals

The candidate will have a drive for process improvementJob Summary (will not post to career site)Develops and implements program quality plans and procedures. Ensures that performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards. Reviews, analyzes and reports on quality discrepancies and data related to production. Investigates problems and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. Interfaces with stakeholders to ensure requirements are met. Recommends corrective actions, dispositions, process optimization and modifications.Minimum Education and ExperienceHigh School Diploma
