LCS/Navy ILS Logistics Analyst I/II

The selected candidate will generate Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD) using the Interactive Computer Aided Provisioning System (ICAPS) to develop Allowance Parts Lists (APLs). Will also be required to update Maintenance Plans, Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), ILS certifications using Navy Data Environment (NDE), and other ILS documentation as needed. Will also be required to interface with customers, application users, and other technical and support personnel.

Tasking includes:

1. Identify and implement correct Source, Maintenance, and Recovery Codes (SM&R)

2. Develop and submit Allowance Parts List (APL) and identifying the applicable Project Type.

3. Use of NAVICP and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).

4. DMSMS and DLA 339 Obsolescence and research vendors for procurement of replacement items and procurement history.

5. Familiar with Configuration Management and elements that impact Integrated Logistic Support.

6. Familiar with Technical Data Management Information System (TDMIS), and the requirements of technical manual submissions.

7. Familiar with Ships 3M OARS (Open Architectural Retrieval System) Maintenance and Material Management System.

This position is located in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in the St. Mary’s County Technology Corridor adjacent to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station.

Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to St. Mary’s County, Maryland or surrounding areas.

Minimum Education and Experience Associate degree and two years of related experience or High School diploma and six years of related experience Required Skills and Education Microsoft Office experience

Knowledge of US Navy Modernization process/procedure

Experience with SCD, ILS Cert, Ship Installation Drawing (SID) review/ development

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance

Preferred Skills and Education Knowledge of PSD sheets

Experience with ICAPs

Experience submitting CDMD-OA work packages

Experience with ILS/ RMMCO documentation development

Knowledge of OARS for shipboard (3M) data
