Jr Watchlist Intelligence Analyst

Support Watchlisting activities to include, but not be limited to researching, exploiting, organizing, prioritizing, producing, and disseminating intelligence information to support the watchlisting mission using Watchlisting Data Organizer, (Watchdog), and/or other internal production related tools. Perform intelligence analysis of DOD datasets resulting in the identification and subsequent nomination of known or suspected terrorists into the National Terrorist Watchlisting system. Nominations shall include specific DOD recommendations for inclusion on no-fly, selectee, or other National Terrorist Watchlists as appropriate, in fulfillment of DOD component of Homeland Security Presidential Directives (HSPD) 6, 11, and 24.

Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience Required Skills and Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Must have a minimum of 1 year experience in an intelligence analysis role in the Intelligence Community
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of documentation analysis
  • Demonstrated ability and knowledge of basic computer skills, and familiarity with intelligence analysis tools used to support Intelligence Community data collection, manipulation, and reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to research, analyze, prioritize effectively, problem solve, synthesize large amounts of data/information, and to work several tasks concurrently with minimum supervision
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and challenging team environment, mentor other personnel, and handle stressful situations
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, including interpersonal skills

Preferred Skills and Education

  • Evaluate, analyze, and process terrorist information and/or nominations
  • Upload, store and retrieve information in multiple intelligence databases
  • Review and assess information, including its accuracy and quality, in order to make recommendations on further processing requirements such as analysis or nomination
