JIDA Training Specialist - Education Branch (SOF-Targeting)
The selected candidate will support the JIDA J-7 Education Branch in the development and instructional delivery of curricula and programs of instruction in threat network methodologies, analytical concepts, critical thinking, C-IED tactics, techniques and procedures, analytical and data-mining software applications, and DoD Directive requirements for intelligence analysis and CCMD request for Counter Threat and C-IED support. As an instructor, the candidate will provide classroom, distance learning, or MTT instruction for JIDA curricula on advanced analytics, operational tradecraft, analytic tradecraft, and technology integration to personnel in Continental United States (CONUS) or Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) sites, including hazardous duty areas.
The candidate shall also be responsible for maintenance of training aids for various analyst tools and a Distance Learning capability for instruction on various JIDA tools. The current structured courses number approximately 40.
This position is located in Northern VA (Reston & Crystal City). There is no relocation assistance available for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to surrounding areas.

Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of experience OR Associate degree with 14 years of experience Required Skills and Education Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of experience OR Associate degree with 14 years of experience
Experience using analytic software (Palantir, Analyst Notebook, or similar)
Experience working with military personnel (combat support disciplines or academic/defense industry equivalents)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Formal instructor experience
Ease in communicating technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to travel at least 10-20% of the time
