This BAE Systems program supports a federal customer who is the principal fact-finding agency for the Federal Government in the broad field of labor economics and statistics. The agency is an independent national statistical agency that collects, processes, analyzes, and disseminates essential statistical data to the American public, the U.S. Congress, other Federal agencies, State and local governments, business, and labor. This position supports The Current Population Survey (CPS) program which provides national labor and economic statistics to the American public, Congress other Federal agencies, states and local governments, businesses, and labor as the monthly employment situation.
Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience
Required Skills and Education
A minimum of 7 years overall experience in the design and development of applications
- Full stack Java developer.
- Strong frontend as well as backend end knowledge.
- Experience in Object Oriented analysis and design
- Experience analyzing system requirements, design and implementation
- Experience in Springboot framework.
- Experience with Oracle relational database and in writing SQL queries in PL/SQL
- Excellent communications skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work on a team or independently
