Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) has technology, engineering and program teams that educate and mentor colleagues to deliver leading Electronic Warfare capabilities. BAE Systems is looking for Test Software Engineers to join the Integrated Test Engineering (ITE) organization. The ITE organization's mission is to reliably deliver customer-focused, affordable test solutions which are integrated across all levels of production test. As an ITE Test Software Engineer you will use your capabilities to develop software for Test Program Sets (TPS) to provide production test solutions needed for our Electronic Warfare (EW) products. These TPS will be developed for Test Stands, Test Equipment, and Software needed to provide In-Process (IP), Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) and Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) ranging from component to systems level analog, digital and RF products.
•An ITE Senior RF Engineer is responsible for testing RF and Microwave Components and Modules and have the ability to troubleshoot RF and Microwave issues using RF instrumentation, like Spectrum and Network Analyzers, Power Meters, RF Signal Generators
•These responsibilities are carried out either as an individual contributor on small projects or a team member on larger efforts with direction and guidance supplied by the Integrated Test Engineering Lead (ITEL) and/or senior engineers.
•Additional responsibilities may include analyzing and interpreting Test Stand Documents and Drawings, assemble and disassemble complex RF Modules, support proposal efforts, and support systems analysis and requirements for an RF TPS.

Typical Education & Experience
Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience
Required Skills and Education
• Ability to understand and identify an EW Systems Block diagram and its different components and functions, i.e. Antennas, LNAs, Receivers, Transmitters, etc
• Ability to test RF and Microwave components and Modules.
• Ability to use RF instrumentation like Spectrum and Network Analyzers, Power Meters, RF Signal Generators
• Familiar with Electrical, Mechanical, Software, and Systems engineering design
Preferred Skills and Education
•Have experience with various test equipment including: Power Supplies, Digital I/O, Oscilloscopes, Switch Matrices, DMMs, Counter/Timers, Thermal Controllers, from various manufacturers including Keysight, National Instruments, Ametek, Teradyne, Tektronix, Thermotron, Tenney, VTI
• Competent with design and performance testing of RF circuits/assemblies, Digital, Optical, or Analog circuitry
• Familiar with NI LabView and NI LabWindows/CVI programming Languages.
• Familiar with Developing Test Programs Using TestStand
