Successful applicant will be able to work independently, demonstrate strong initiative, an ability to organize daily tasks with minimal supervision. This position provides customer desktop support including; installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and diagnosing workstations, KVM switches, printers, peripherals, VoIPs, video displays and video teleconferencing systems (VTC). Provide assistance with VTC & DVTC conference support services to include, assistance with engineering, installing, and the coordination of programming video display systems. Maintaining and operating VTC equipment to include cameras, microphones, audio and video playback devices, and continuously working with bridge managers to monitor all component equipment, VTC sessions, and taking appropriate corrective actions for restoral to operational readiness. Candidate must have superior customer service skills and an attention to detail.
Additional duties include updating and tracking customer issues using the Service Now. Duties may include monitoring the lifecycle of IT equipment and loading crypto keys. Assisting the customer with responding to service requests for hardware related incidents. Successful candidate will perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Education
Provide excellent communication both internally with the team and management, as well as externally with the customers.
Demonstrate strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills in order to evaluate situations make recommendations and take prompt, effective corrective action.
Physical Requirements: Be able to lift up to 50 lbs., crawl under desk/tables to troubleshoot cables and network connections.
