Intelligence Anst I
The Counterintelligence Analyst will conduct all-source research and threat analysis of counterintelligence, counterterrorism, force protection, and information operations of foreign military forces and their operations, capabilities, activities and trends to support fused intelligence and threat production, particularly to protect U.S. Army and DoD equities. Develop investigative leads for counterintelligence agents by conducting in depth research and analysis through the use of both classified and unclassified databases. Conduct research using records checks, social networking analysis, digital mapping programs, and intelligence/law enforcement database and research tools, to include Open Source and classified searches, in order to support investigative activity, subject interviews, and case development. Conduct analysis of source reliability and report credibility in support of the source validation process. Categorize subjects based on derogatory information, association to terrorism or foreign intelligence entities (FIE), and threat assessments acquired through research. Produce analytical information reports from reviews of Law Enforcement database searches in support of ongoing national security investigations. Provide support to counterintelligence investigative activities and operations through liaison with Counterintelligence Agents and other members of the DoD and intelligence community. Provide analytical updates to leadership. Develop recommendations regarding the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures for assigned tasks. Conduct all tasks in support of investigations and operations under AR 381-20. These positions will be located in the United States which could include Redstone Arsenal, Alabama; Linthicum, Maryland; Aberdeen, Maryland; Fort Jackson, South Carolina; Fort Leavenworth, Kansas; Fort Gordon, Georgia; Joint Base Pearl Harbor, Hawaii; Joint Base San Antonio, Texas; Chantilly, Virginia; Fort Meade, Maryland; Arlington, Virginia; and Fort Belvoir, Virginia.
